POST 9: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Before I talk about my career I have to admit that I’m not a big journalist lover. To be honest, there are a lot of things I don’t like about it and I don’t feel that “passion” you suppose to feel when you think on your career.

Anyways, on a fist place, if I could change something on the journalist career, I would definitely make that the “Investigation journalist class” become an elective class (that I wouldn’t take, obviously). Then I would provide more time for the radio class, I mean that I would put the radio class in more semesters than only two of them, with the objective that students could learn more about radio phonic journalist.

For another hand, I would make a little class, like a CFG (general formation class) where someone teaches the student how to create titles. I know it sound ridiculous, but I would definitely take that class (T_T).   

I also tried to make a class where the student could learn more about new technology’s that they can use as a tool in the development of their profession, like in the digital journalist where it’s a lot to learn about.  

For the end, I think that I would rebuild the studio plan in a way that makes the career been shorter, so the students could save some money from those semesters that have been removed.

So, that’s all I would do with my career, maybe because I don’t like it that much like I want it to make it better.

POST 8. SUMMER HOLIDAYS

For this summer I don’t have any vacation plans, because I’m using the time on my professional practice. I still haven’t get any job offers but I’m very decided about doing it now. I wish it could be in some radio station or a fashion magazine, but those offers aren’t available yet.

However, even when I’m not doing any special activities on vacation, I hope to have some free time for stay at home and watch a lot of TV and anime series. I’m also waiting for a moment to spend with my friends and boyfriend, here in Santiago.

For another hand, if I could get a time for vacations, I would probably go to the beach or something like that, not too away from Santiago because I don’t have too much money, and I would use those days taking a walk at the sea's shore and breathing some fresh air.

In any case I have to admit that I’m not the kind of person that is doing things the whole time.  My greatest vacations plan is always stay at home and have some peaceful time with my family, watching a lot of TV and eating some nice food.

I have never travel out of the country on vacation, because it’s too expensive, or even inside of Chile because of the same reason. So since I was little I get use to stay at home for vacation and with time it become in the kind of thing that I really love to do, especially now that I spend the whole year running  around the city.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying that I would not like to travel, I'm saying that I've never got the chance to do it, so I'm used to it. But if I could have more time and money I would definitely be going all around the world.

POST 7: FILMS

I love go to the cinema! I would do it more often if I would have the money, but for now I try to go just to the movies that I feel really interest in. I remember that the first time I’ve ever go to the cinema it was when I was five years old, and the movie was “Rugrats in Paris”. For another hand, I really like to have movie nights in my house, watching movies on Netflix or any other platform.  

The last time I went to the cinema it was like two weeks ago, when I saw “Fantastic beast and where to find them”, a Harry Potter spin off. It was really fun! I felt like I was a little girl again when I heard the enchantments J

The time before that that I saw “Doctor Strange” and it was very fun too, but I didn’t like it that much as I usually like Marvel movies (I love Marvel movies).

I must to admit that I’m not an exigent person if we have to talk about movies. I like almost every kind of genres, so if I have to choose something I don’t like that would probably be the horror movies. Is not like I hate horror movies, but most of the time I get bored of them and I don’t feel scare at all.

I think that I can’t choose for just one movie as my favorite, so I’ll say my top 3:m
1- The Harry Potter saga. These movies are basically my childhood.
2- Titanic <3 I can see this movie over and over again, and I still cry with the end.
3- The perks of being a wallflower. One of my favorite movie scenes in the world is in this movie, when Charlie dances with Patrick and Sam in the middle of prom.  

I think that the only one reason why I love these movies is because of the way I feel every time a watch them, I really connect whit the characters and the stories and I think that’s the best part of the movie world, that they help to go to another world, different than yours, with different experiences and emotion. And that’s probably the reason why I love to watch movies all the time.
