POST 9: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Before I talk about my career I have to admit that I’m not a big journalist lover. To be honest, there are a lot of things I don’t like about it and I don’t feel that “passion” you suppose to feel when you think on your career.

Anyways, on a fist place, if I could change something on the journalist career, I would definitely make that the “Investigation journalist class” become an elective class (that I wouldn’t take, obviously). Then I would provide more time for the radio class, I mean that I would put the radio class in more semesters than only two of them, with the objective that students could learn more about radio phonic journalist.

For another hand, I would make a little class, like a CFG (general formation class) where someone teaches the student how to create titles. I know it sound ridiculous, but I would definitely take that class (T_T).   

I also tried to make a class where the student could learn more about new technology’s that they can use as a tool in the development of their profession, like in the digital journalist where it’s a lot to learn about.  

For the end, I think that I would rebuild the studio plan in a way that makes the career been shorter, so the students could save some money from those semesters that have been removed.

So, that’s all I would do with my career, maybe because I don’t like it that much like I want it to make it better.

POST 8. SUMMER HOLIDAYS

For this summer I don’t have any vacation plans, because I’m using the time on my professional practice. I still haven’t get any job offers but I’m very decided about doing it now. I wish it could be in some radio station or a fashion magazine, but those offers aren’t available yet.

However, even when I’m not doing any special activities on vacation, I hope to have some free time for stay at home and watch a lot of TV and anime series. I’m also waiting for a moment to spend with my friends and boyfriend, here in Santiago.

For another hand, if I could get a time for vacations, I would probably go to the beach or something like that, not too away from Santiago because I don’t have too much money, and I would use those days taking a walk at the sea's shore and breathing some fresh air.

In any case I have to admit that I’m not the kind of person that is doing things the whole time.  My greatest vacations plan is always stay at home and have some peaceful time with my family, watching a lot of TV and eating some nice food.

I have never travel out of the country on vacation, because it’s too expensive, or even inside of Chile because of the same reason. So since I was little I get use to stay at home for vacation and with time it become in the kind of thing that I really love to do, especially now that I spend the whole year running  around the city.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying that I would not like to travel, I'm saying that I've never got the chance to do it, so I'm used to it. But if I could have more time and money I would definitely be going all around the world.

POST 7: FILMS

I love go to the cinema! I would do it more often if I would have the money, but for now I try to go just to the movies that I feel really interest in. I remember that the first time I’ve ever go to the cinema it was when I was five years old, and the movie was “Rugrats in Paris”. For another hand, I really like to have movie nights in my house, watching movies on Netflix or any other platform.  

The last time I went to the cinema it was like two weeks ago, when I saw “Fantastic beast and where to find them”, a Harry Potter spin off. It was really fun! I felt like I was a little girl again when I heard the enchantments J

The time before that that I saw “Doctor Strange” and it was very fun too, but I didn’t like it that much as I usually like Marvel movies (I love Marvel movies).

I must to admit that I’m not an exigent person if we have to talk about movies. I like almost every kind of genres, so if I have to choose something I don’t like that would probably be the horror movies. Is not like I hate horror movies, but most of the time I get bored of them and I don’t feel scare at all.

I think that I can’t choose for just one movie as my favorite, so I’ll say my top 3:m
1- The Harry Potter saga. These movies are basically my childhood.
2- Titanic <3 I can see this movie over and over again, and I still cry with the end.
3- The perks of being a wallflower. One of my favorite movie scenes in the world is in this movie, when Charlie dances with Patrick and Sam in the middle of prom.  

I think that the only one reason why I love these movies is because of the way I feel every time a watch them, I really connect whit the characters and the stories and I think that’s the best part of the movie world, that they help to go to another world, different than yours, with different experiences and emotion. And that’s probably the reason why I love to watch movies all the time.

POST 6: POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

To be honest, I’m not really interest about taking a postgraduate course in the future. I’ve been studying without a rest for 17 years since I was five years old, so right now all I want is finish my career, get my tittle and let my “student” steppe in the past!

Anyway, if I would take a postgraduate course sometime, I think it would be something about digital communication because I considered a very interesting topic and very relevant on this times.

The developed of technology has made of the internet a very important part on the society, getting even more significant than the traditional media. Besides, the social media has become the voice of the people and has made than they spend a lot of time in the net.

On the other hand I’ve been learning a little part of those things on one my journalist class and I think is really fun! I had the opportunity to create a web page, administrated and make the contents, and I’ve really enjoyed. So that’s why I take that kind of postgraduate course.

For another part, I think it would be great if I could make this course out of the country, on a place like USA, but I’m not sure about been away from my family for so long (I’m very very VERY close to them). So I think that I’d take it on any good communication school in Chile.

POST 5: MY FUTURE JOB

In the future I would like to work on the radio as an announcer, talking about music, tv, books or movies. The job would be mostly indoors but I probably would have to go outside to get the information sometimes.

My biggest dream about a future job would be get the possibility to travel out of the town to cover different events like festivals, awards ceremonies or maybe the Olympic Games (Japan 2020 please <3)  Anyway, get the possibility to know any new place with my job it would be OK!

At the end, If I have to talk about my future job I think that the most important thing will be to do something fun and something to make me feel happy every day. That’s the reason why I could never work on a government office or something like that.

So, when I started the career of journalism I didn’t felt really happy about what I was doing. Until I started with the radio class and I realize that I was really happy every time that I was in front of the microphone. Since then I decide to go to the radio world, expecting to find some of that happiness on my job someday.

POST 4: ANIMALS AND PETS

Since I was little, I’ve always loved animals. I feel especially in love with pandas, penguins and kittens. But I usually like all of them. J So! If I have to talk about animals I can’t keep myself to tell you about my pets: the loves of my life and one of the reasons of my happiness.

Everything started in 1999 or 2000 (how old I am ><), when my uncles came to my house, and brought my first kitty: Pelusa. She was absolutely beautiful, and she stole my heart since the first time that I saw her. She died in 2004, and I was really sad because of that, but I still have a picture of her in my room, and I like to watch it every day and remember how beautiful she was.

A few times later my neighbor gave me my first dog: Rolly. He was my first love and the longest one. Has been sixteen years since I meet him and I still love him like crazy. Sadly, he died a few years ago. It was horrible, but I’m ok now and I know he’s still living inside of my heart <3! 

In 2004 my cat Hermione was born and a year later she gave birth to Marie and we decide to keep her even when it supposed that we wouldn't. Then, Marie gave birth to Ginny, and we decide to keep her too, because she was only one, and she was really beautiful. Next year, Lily was born and yes! We keep her as well!

In 2011, a little kitty appeared in my roof. She was so skinny and she was so hungry! Ok, we just can’t say no to a cat! Right now Morita, as we called her, is four years old and she is my little baby. My love for her knows no bounds *-*

And finally!!!! In 2013 my brother and I found two little dogs in a box. We were sad yet because of the lost of Rolly, but we were wishing for have another dog in the house. So we took them, we gave one to my cousin and we adopt the other one. That’s Bruno, my little monster! He’s like a baby boy and he love to run around the house bothering all of my cats.

So that’s the story of my pets. To give you a final counting I have four cats and one dog and I love them like an idiot. They’re a part of my family and I will always be grateful with them for the happiness that they give me every single day. 

To finish this, I have to say that if I could be an animal I would be a cat, but not any cat, but one of my cats because they live like british royalty.

POST 3: READING

When I was a little girl I didn’t like to read. However, when I grow up, I started reading this one specific saga that was a famous movie when I was a teenager. I’m talking about the Twilight saga.

The thing is that I was in love with the movie, so I decide to star reading the book because I didn’t want to wait until the next movie, to get to know the answer of my entire question.  So I get the book and I started reading and I just loved it even more than the movie.  Then I read the complete saga and I realize how fun it was to read, so I decide to read another movie saga that I loved even more than Twilight, and that is Harry Potter.

Harry Potter was a challenge for me because the whole saga is composed by seven books, and that was pretty much for a started reader as I was, but even so I read it all and since there I became a crazy book girl.

I enjoy reading young-adults fiction novels, especially if they talk about love <3 but no matter how many books I’ve read (so many that I can’t count them) my favorite will always be Harry Potter. The reason is simple: I was in love with the Harry Potter universe just with the movies, but there so much more details, stories, magic, characters and answers in the books, that complete the whole story and made me loved it even more and felt that I could get there every time I read it. (That’s why I think EVERYBODY should read it sometime)

For another part, the last book I read it was “Paper Towns”, a book about a boy who spend a lot of time looking for a missing girl that he used to be in love with, but in the process he found out that she wasn’t the amazing person that he thought, and understood what people are is something way more difficult than just to know them.  

 I enjoyed it a lot and I really liked a lot of the teachings that I found in it. It took me just a few days to read it and I would recommend it to people who are feeling locked on their lives J
